What does the Køge Kyst project mean for you?
The development of the central part of Køge will open up a host of new opportunities and possibilities for people who already live in Køge, work in the town, come here to shop, or attend cultural events - and for people who are thinking of moving here.
The opportunities and attractions in the new part of Køge are
intended for all residents of and visitors to the
municipality.
They include, for example:
- Additional cultural attractions to supplement those offered by
Copenhagen
- More shops and a wider selection - gathered together in the
centre of Køge
- New residences - all kinds and price ranges
- New jobs
- Better access to the water, both from the quays and from the
beach
- A cohesive town, where the harbour area and town centre
function as an integrated unit.
In this way, the new part of the town will contribute to uniting
Køge and creating one of the most attractive residential and
commercial towns on Zealand.
Your opportunity to keep up with the
development
The development of the new part of Køge will take place in an open
process. You will continuously have the opportunity to keep up with
the solution proposals put forward by the professional players, and
you and other stakeholders are invited to participate in dialogue
about the future of the area, and to play an active part in the
urban development and renewal.
